STRUGGLING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Children from hard places—a phrase that captures experiences of trauma, neglect, or family disruption—often struggle.  Difficult experiences can impair development.  This leads to a need for intervention beyond the scope of individual families.

OUR APPROACH

Cono gives families and their children a place of hope and reconciliation; a place to move beyond struggle and conflict. We follow Christ into the world attending to those whose lives have been disrupted, relationships dissolved, and faith development hindered; to those suffering the effects of trauma. 

LIVES CHANGED

Former student:  Four years after I stepped onto that Cono campus, I graduated with plans for the future. It did not seem like a reality to me or anyone else when I first arrived. I am thankful for Cono because it helped me grow up and learn how to live a life with God at the front and center.
