The story of Mamo Wolde and his family was recently highlighted in a Runner's World article by Kenny Moore. Cono Christian Boarding School has accepted the children of Olympic marathoner, Mamo Wolde, as students for the fall of 2004.
Our goal in seeking contributions is twofold. First, any financial support will be credited toward the children's educational fees which will improve the children's success of receiving student visas from the US Consulate in Ethiopia. Second, financial donations will be used to finance the children's travel expenses.
